About Knit & Wick: Where Cozy Meets Bookish

Before Knit & Wick became a business, it was a spark of curiosity that quickly ignited into a passion project. In 2019, as a recent post-grad on a tight budget, I couldn’t afford the luxury candles I craved. These candles were my cozy companions during quiet moments— reading a good book, watching my favorite movies, or knitting on chilly winter evenings.

Candles transformed these moments, adding warmth and comfort, especially in the darkest days of the year. When the idea struck to make my own candles, I dove headfirst into research, determined to create a candle that embodied everything I loved: long-lasting, clean-burning, and perfect for enhancing the cozy atmosphere when I was reading or knitting.

In December 2019, I crafted my first candle and was instantly captivated by the blend of science and creativity involved. From that moment on, I couldn’t stop. I quickly filled my home with candles, eventually gifting them to friends and family when I ran out of space. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive— everyone loved them as much as I did and urged me to share my candles with the world.

In 2020, Knit & Wick was officially born. Today, my candles are still made with the same love and dedication, offering readers and tranquility seekers the perfect ambiance for their favorite moments— whether that’s diving into a novel, knitting by the fire, or simply unwinding at home. Each candle is thoughtfully handcrafted using pure soy wax, non-toxic materials, all sourced from the USA to ensure a clean burn that lasts.
